Pasaia is a little town situated in the region of Guipúzcoa, in the northeast of Spain.
The following project is the proposal submitted to the redesign competition held in December 2014 for the emblem of the City Hall.
The project unveils a significant simplification of the previous heraldic emblem, also keeping the core elements: the recognizable shape of the shield, the crown, the lily, the two oars and waves of the sea as reference to the marine nature of the town, and the winged sirens represented by wings and tail termination. The project is developed in two languages, Castilian and Euskera, the local language of the Basque Country, privileging the latter.
Project realized with Vudumedia, graphic design studio in Bilbao.
